The Walk by Shaun Alexander

Shaun Alexander is a former University of Alabama football star. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks and set numerous NFL records, including scoring 28 touchdowns, gaining 1,880 rushing yards and leading his team to the Super Bowl. He credits his success to God, and has since, been a speaker and Bible teacher for the Lord. He travels to church gatherings, sports camps, Christian conferences and numerous other events, sharing what he has learned through his Walk with God.
In his book, you will find inspiration to begin your own walk with God. As he explains, you must walk With God, not run ahead, nor lag behind.  Shaun  Alexander takes us through five stages of spiritual maturity.  Take the first step in living at God's pace. From unbeliever, to imparter of God's will.  When you start walking with God, it’s easy to misplace the emphasis. To hear people talk about it, you'd think the phrase "walking with God" contained only two words: walking and God. When a Christian thinks about walking with God, It's clear there are many variables includeed in that walk: when, where, how, and who can come with you.God is our very important Walking Partner! Partner....not leder or follower. Many try to steer God in the direction that they would choose for themselves. Others just wait for God to lead the way with a grand gesture. I have found myself in both of these situations as I have grown with God. But to find the right pace, and walk along beside God, is the ultimate goal!
Shaun’s basic paradigm for initial discipleship is quite helpful. His use of personal example throughout each segment adds to its value. His admonition that we are to share experience along with information during the process is so key to one’s impact. Shaun Alexander is once again scoring, this time with his writing ability.
